A strong focus this season

The current season for Trucks Plus racing young gun Kris Coyle has seen some big improvements in a number or areas which have resulted in this high achieving star in the making consistently running with the top guns of the Sprintcar division week in week out.

 Taking his first feature win of this season in Australia’s biggest domestic Sprintcar series was no mean feat in front of the best WA has to offer only cemented the fact that this team has moved to another level.

 “We have concentrated on working with the Murphy car in the early part of the season, and now we have moved back to the maxim to see if we are either going to get some more speed or not, it’s a case of refining what we have learned and in racing you have to keep striving to a higher goal otherwise you eventually get left behind” Said Coyle.

 Though Coyle is not where he would like to be in the pointscore it hasn’t been through any fault of his own. Either a mechanical failure or the result of car damage dished out at the hands of others on track has seen his ranking on the tally board slide it hasn’t dampened the teams enthusiasm to continue to strive for excellence.

“The series is all about being consistent in every race and unfortunately we had a couple of DNF’s but there is still a lot of racing to do and we intend to move forward and climb back up towards the top of the ladder again” Said the upbeat Coyle.

 There is plenty of racing over the next six weeks as the Sprintcar season heads into the month of money when the top teams from across Australia will land here is WA . This time will allow Coyle to start clawing back up the leader board and at the same time compete in the highest profile racing in Australia.

 With a massive free to air television deal in place One HD will be telecasting some of the events Coyle will be competing in and it is expected Coyle will feature in some of the footage.

 Coyle so far this season has finished in the top six of every feature race he has finished including a win, third, and fourth. No doubt that Coyle is focused and wants some of that silverware on offer during the next month.
