Express Win For Coyle It was a flag to flag victory for Kris Coyle when he took out the Watsons All in Sprintcar Express last Sunday at Perth outer metropolitan Ellenbrook Speedway. Coyle was never headed during the 20 lap final that saw him lapping a number of cars throughout the event. “The car was great it had plenty of drive and was hooked up, it was good to see an outside line here which made things more interesting” Said Coyle. With the day broken up into three separate points scores Coyle worked his way forward in the heats making sure he made it to the all important final. The Murphy project car was definitely the car to beat in the final as it really tucked down on the left rear. “We changed a few shocks for the final and did things a bit different, we moved the wing as far forward as possible and the car just got better as the race went on”. With Coyle’s summer season still not cemented it was a chance to stretch his legs and at the same time work on the new cars technology. “I am not sure what we are doing for the summer yet that will depend on sponsorship, but it was great to have an event like this during the winter season as some of us still like to run but just don’t really get the chance to. Every time we bring this car out we learn a bit more about it which is good so hopefully over the next twelve months or so we can start getting some consistent results”.
